Refund policy

This policy is formulated in compliance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, regulated by the ACCC. All statutory consumer guarantees apply to all orders placed with Nirelia and cannot be excluded or limited.
ACCC Mandatory Statement: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

1. Statutory Consumer Guarantees

If goods arrive faulty, damaged, unsafe, misdescribed or unfit for purpose, you have a legal right to a full refund, free replacement or repair for a reasonable period after purchase under Australian law.

2. Voluntary Change-of-Mind Returns

Australian law does not provide a cooling-off period for general online change-of-mind returns. As a customer benefit, Nirelia offers a 30-day voluntary return policy for eligible items. Items must be unused, unwashed, with original tags and intact packaging in resalable condition. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are payable by the customer.

3. Return Processing

Submit return requests via hello@nirelia.shop within the valid return window. Inspections and refunds are processed within 3–5 Australian business days after receiving your returned parcel.

4. Return Shipping Liability

We cover all return postage for faulty, damaged or incorrectly sent items. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees for personal preference returns.

5. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Final fund arrival depends on your Australian financial institution’s processing time.

6. Non-Returnable Items

Customised products, opened cosmetic and intimate items, and products marked “Final Sale” are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Statutory consumer guarantees still apply for defective goods.

7. Order Cancellation

Unshipped orders may be cancelled free of charge. Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled and must be returned via our return process.
